We have been working very hard on our iPad 2 case over the last year; loads of changes and refinements, but we are finally really happy with the finished product. It's going to be released onto the market very soon, they should be available for purchase early in the new year.

They are machined from 2 solid plates of 6082 aluminium on our CNC mill. This is a complicated operation in the machine that takes a long time and uses 20 different tools in the process. We also CNC mill and laser cut the clip components from stainless steel to prevent corrosion and to ensure they last. 

We hand glue a neoprene lining and two rubber bumpers to the interior faces before assembly to cushion and protect your iPad 2. The one process we don't do in-house is the anodising;  this is done at a local specialist company. After much testing we chose a slate grey Hard-coat anodise finish. The Hard-coat provides a much superior corrosion and scratch resistant coating to normal cosmetic anodising.

We are super excited about our new case and don't know of anything else on the market like it!

We have now machined up some white cases, they will be ready for sale next week. They look really smart.

Our orange cases have just arrived back from the anodisers to replace the bronze ones that we have been selling. The colour has come out great and should look especially nice with the white Delrin...when it arrives!

Things are getting close for the release of our new iPad 2 case. We have been working super hard on these and are very happy with how they are looking. The first batch is under way so its not long until you will be able to protect your iPad in a machined from solid, hard-coat anodised aluminium case complete with stainless steel and neoprene. Hopefully you will think they are as awesome as we do!

We are in the process of bringing a white backed line of cases to our shop, they should look really good with the new white iPhone 4S. We hopefully will have them ready in the coming weeks, will keep you updated.

One thing CNC machines like to do is produce parts, lots of them! After some hard work feeding our machine with aluminium blanks we now have a nice stack of aluminium fronts ready for buffing to a shiny polish before they get sent off to the anodisers.

After many months of design and prototyping, we have finally pressed that green button, we are up and running! We are really psyched about our new line of cases, first up is our hybrid Aluminium / Delrin iPhone 4 case. All three pieces are precision machined here in house to fit snugly around the contours of your phone. It is available in ten vibrant colours, so I'm sure there will be one you love.
