What is anodizing?

Anodizing is an electrochemical process that forms a protective coating of aluminium oxide on the surface of aluminium. The anodised layer protects the raw aluminium, transforming it into a hard, durable surface. During this process the aluminium can be dipped in a variety of dyes creating the bright, vibrant colours that you see on our cases.

What delivery options do you offer?

UK mainland orders are sent with Royal Mail first class. We send out all European and International orders with FedEx priority mail.

What methods of payment do you accept?

You can pay online though our website with credit and debit cards.

Where are Alcase products made?

All of our products are made by us here in Leicester, England.

Returns

If you are unhappy with your case or it has a manufacturing defect you can return it within 14 days, unused in the original packaging for a replacement or a refund. In order to return the case, please email returns@alcasestore.com. Please ensure the case is carefully wrapped and include a tracking number for all return items as we are not responsible for lost cases.

What finish do you use on the case?

After finish machining we manually orbital sand then polish each case creating a smooth bright finish. The case is then anodized in 10 different colours leaving a vibrant, hard shell.

What grade aluminium is used?

We use 6082 grade aluminium which is European equivalent to American 6061.

What earphone/chargers fit the case?

We have designed the largest possible cut outs for the headphone and charger points however due to the varying range of sizes of third party connectors we cannot guarantee they will fit.

How will my case wear over time?

The anodised layer creates a harder and more durable surface than plain aluminium, however it can still can get scratched against hard sharp surfaces.

Do you post to out of the UK?

Yes we ship internationally.

I have ordered my item how long will it take to arrive?

We will send you a confirmation email once your case has been shipped and we aim to do this within 24 hours (Monday-Friday).

We send out all European and International orders with FedEx priority mail. This is a fast service and most European and United States orders will be delivered within 2 days.

What sort of packaging will my item come in?

Each case comes in its own custom Alcase tin which is then packaged in a padded envelope.
